In October 2023, two brothers came to me wanting to put together a special book layout. Their grandfather had taken a trip in 1916 through Nebraska, the Dakotas, Montana, and Yellowstone National Park, and he took many pictures and wrote a book about his adventures on that trip. 106 years later in 2022, the two brothers had embarked on the same trip and visited the same sites that their grandfather had seen more than a century prior. They also took many pictures (several looking identical to their grandpa’s pics), and they documented their own adventures on this same trip. They asked me to create a book layout in which their story and photos could line up closely with their grandfather’s story and photos.

This layout was created in Adobe Indesign and was completed in December of 2024.
